Linquan County, under the jurisdiction of Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is the northwest gateway of Anhui Province. It is located at the southwestern end of the Huanghuai Plain and the northwestern part of Anhui Province. The county borders 9 counties and urban areas in Anhui and Henan provinces, with a maximum width of 62 km from east to west and a maximum length of 68 km from north to south, covering a total area of 1,839 square kilometers.

Linquan was called Shendi in ancient times. By the end of 2018, the county’s highway mileage reached 3,036 km. Linquan County is the hometown of Jiang Shang, the hometown of acrobatics, the red footprint and the pasture of Central Plains.
